عمر خیام

Our story

Our Story

Omar Khayyám was born in Nishapur in 1048. He was a mathematician who classified and solved cubic equations, an astronomer who helped measure the length of the solar year for the Jalali calendar, and a poet whose quatrains, the Rubāʿiyāt, have been read in every language for nearly a thousand years.

His verses return again and again to the same few things: the cup, the night sky, the people beside you, and how quickly the hour passes. It is a fitting name for a house of wine.

What we make

Reserve still wines from handpicked grapes: a Muscat with a hint of nutmeg, and reds of plum, chocolate and black pepper. Sparkling wine from handpicked Muscat, including Omar Khayyam's Legend and the Fire collection, which carries edible shimmer that swirls as you pour. And vodka: wheat harvested once every three years and softened by our wheat tears process, and a limited grape vodka distilled from Chardonnay and Rhine Riesling, then diamond filtered.

Every bottle is sold to over 18s only. Please enjoy it in good company, and responsibly.
